KIC METALIKS LIMITED formerly known as Kajaria Iron Casting Limited incorporated on 26th August 1986. It commissioned the pig iron unit in the heart of steel city Durgapur in February 1998 with installed capacity of 108,000 MT of pig iron per annum. It was the first green field industry of this region amongst medium scale industries.

Further under a drive of forward integration, a Grey Cast Iron Foundry for export of castings to Western Countries and a Cement Unit where set up which started production in the year 1999 and 2001 respectively. Later on a coke conversion plant was also set up towards self-sufficiency and consolidation. Spread in an area of 76 acres our plant has an employment capacity of approximately 500 persons of various categories.

The blast furnace at KIC with an annual capacity of 109,000 tones, produces foundry and SG grades of pig iron and around 30000 tones of slag per year which is partly used by the cement division for the production of Portland Slag cement and part of it is sold for use in the cement industry.

At present KIC has around 130 technically skilled staff with high experience & knowledge in this field. The young & energetic Chairman & Managing Director of the Company Mr. R. S. Jalan being a Commerce (Honors) graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant and with an experience of over ten years in Business Administration, has made the company formidable & is striving harder to achieve more heights. In a short span of time, he has reached pinnacle of success by his hard work, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit.
